Villa Franceschi, at only 10 Km from Venice, overlooks the banks of the Brenta, the Riviera of the noble families of Venice. As long ago as the 15th century the Venetians considered the waters of the Brenta to be a natural extension of the Canal Grande. They built a string of villas along its banks with both business and pleasure in mind. These summer retreats had two fa?ades, the finest one overlooking the waterway, while the one at the rear gave on to the gardens and cottages where everyday activities went on. The windows and terraces of Villa Franceschi overlook an extensive park containing some outstandingly beautiful corners embellished by antique statues. In the rooms of the cottages one can enjoy the silence of nature, broken only by birdsong from the boughs of the centuries-old trees. The park and gardens are a tranquil paradise. There are many ways to let guests know they are welcome, but in this regard the details are eloquent: fireplaces, sumptuous fabrics, pictures, period furniture, classical d?cor, all conspire to make your stay a memorable one.

Villa Angelica is situated 3 minutes walk from 'Venice-Lido' water-bus station. It is a completely restored house in liberty style dating from the beginning of the 20th century. In just 10 minutes by boat you can reach the famous St. Mark?s Square. The furnishings are classic and refined, the lighting is made of shells and glass and is a mixture of Venetian and Oriental style. You can have your Continental breakfast in your bedroom or when the weather is warm enough, in the luxurious garden surrounding the villa. If you are fond of sport, a few steps from the villa there is the renowned Lido beach and in the vicinity a riding-school, a boat-racing centre, tennis courts, the famous golf and other sports facilities. We have bicycles at our guest?s disposal in order to get around easily and take in the relaxed atmosphere that Lido offers. In the garden there are toys and two swings for our smaller guests.

Nestled in the beautiful setting of Lido, in the historical Malamocco area, surrounded by peace and quietness, Villa Paradiso is the ideal choice for the smart traveller. Our key word is location: * BEACH: from Villa Paradiso you can walk to the Murazzi beach (5 minutes) and sunbake for free. * SPORT: the Murazzi beach also offers a beautiful jogging and bicycle track directly by the sea. We have some mountain bikes on the premises, since you can cycle for the all length of the Lido either sea or lagoon side. The famous Lido 18-hole Golf Course is only 10 minutes by bus, while horse back riding is available with a 5-minute bus ride. * VENICE: a short stroll to the bus stop (3 minutes) will allow you to reach St. Mark square in approx. 20 minutes by public transport. * PARKING: the villa is in a cul-de-sac and there are a couple of parking spaces in our locked driveway, but there is plenty of off-street parking space too. * NATURE: the Lido offers 12 Kms of fine sandy beach and a huge WWF pine-tree preserve that is home to plenty of birds typical of the Venetian lagoon. Villa Paradiso consists of a newly refurbished villa with oversized designer rooms for your total comfort completed by en suite facilities; we have added some modern-art paintings, orthopaedic mattresses to relax your body after a hectic day in Venice and a beautiful continental buffet breakfast to satisfy your senses in the morning. All rooms are air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter, have colour TV with remote, telephone and are extremely quiet. The white and aquamarine colour pattern throughout the villa suggests a sense of freshness, peace and well being. We have plenty of fruit trees in our garden and birds come and sing in the afternoon. To facilitate our guests with a large family, we have a few rooms that are interconnecting and leave plenty of room to move. Pets are more than welcome, but they must be house-trained and must not disturb the relaxing atmosphere that the villa offers.

Alloggi Agli Artisti Hotel
Brand new hotel in a perfect position: only 150 meters away from the main central Venice railway station (Santa Lucia). Rooms are very bright and lie on 4 floors (no lift), but we just opened three new rooms on the ground floor (only 5 stairsteps) for people who have some problems in moving upstairs (this three rooms have bathroom ensuite). They are all very well equipped and our guest can choose between rooms with bathroom ensuite (with hairdryer), and rooms with sharing bathroom on the floor (cheaper). Anyhow, every room has tv color (we are also buying a new satellite), airconditioning/heating, telephone (with the possibility to call outside), alarm service, selfcare stuffs, balcony with flowers on reguest (view on a typical venecian Calle). We also installed a wireless lan system which is currenlty not yet activated, but that will become a value added service starting from June 2005). Our breakfast room has been opened on May the 12th, and it's also a wonderful living room with a small bar which works all day long. In the area where the hotel is located there are many important and historical buildings, churches, museums such as Palazzo Labia, Ca' Savorgnan and its park now public garden, the church of S.Maria di Nazareth or Degli Scalzi, Ss.Geremia e Lucia where is preserved the body of S.Lucia, the Jewish museum and the synagogues). For the lovers of night-life nearby the hotel there's a discotheque in this area begins the most important street that crosses with different names, the whole city (Lista di Spagna, Rio Tera' S.Leonardo, Strada Nova ecc...)noisy and picturesque.
